The Country Club at the Golden Nugget Named by Golf Digest to Top Ten New Courses of 2015

Golden Nugget Lake Charles is excited to announce Golf Digest, the world's most widely read golf publication, ranked The Country Club in the 2015 Top Ten Best New Courses list. A panel of expert judges reviewed courses around the country for its overall construction design applauding The Country Club for its beautiful scenery, links-style course, wide fairways, variety of holes, fun atmosphere and more.

Located on the Contraband Bayou, the 18-hole par 72 championship golf course offers amazing views with great golf shots and generous fairways. The Country Club is designed by the award winning Todd Eckenrode-Origins Golf Design. The 7,000 yard treasure features miniverde greens and celebration tees, fairways and roughs surrounded with Spartina Patens and Muhly grass. In addition to the course, The Country Club features a new 4,000-square-foot luxury clubhouse providing the ideal environment for guests to dine, relax and recap the experience of a picturesque round of golf. Golf course rates begin at $129 for Golden Nugget hotel guests and $159 for non-hotel guests. Juniors (under 18 years old) cost $79 for a round. Club rentals cost $50 as well as twilight rates are available daily for $50. Group rates are available for groups over 20 players.
